10 Life Lessons We Can Take From Best Value Bean To Cup Coffee Machine

Best Value Bean to Cup Coffee Machines

If you're ready for a one-press, hands-off latte that's fully customisable this is the machine for you. Read our Beem Espresso Grind Profession review for more details.

Its bean hoppers that can be swapped allow you to try different blends on the fly and its profiles mean you can pick up exactly where you left beginning. It's also less expensive than capsule machines and utilizes real coffee beans instead of pre-ground coffee beans.

1. Smeg BCC02

Created by Milan-based firm Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine pairs the distinctive retro style of the brand with modern technology. This machine handles all stages of the coffee-making process, from grinding beans to the tamping of a puck and making milk into a texturing, before dispensing the right amount.

The machine is also available in black, red or taupe. It can easily fit into any kitchen design. It's not free of flaws however. Many reviewers felt that it was expensive for a cup to bean maker (and it doesn't come with an ice cube).

But there were also plenty of glowing reviews about the quality of the coffee as well as the ease of use of this machine. The intuitive digital display provides the step-by-step instructions and feedback throughout the coffee making process, helping you make your drink perfect each time. The machine even allows you to alter the size of your grind if that's not what you would like to do. It's like having a personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building skills and Harry Potter's invisible cape).

This model is ideal for those who like milky drinks. The steam wand can be adjusted up and down to fit most drinking vessels, with the exception of Viking drinking horns. We were also impressed by the speed and efficiency with the way that the frothing was performed. It makes an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a wonderful crema.

The BCC02 is a great all-rounder that's quiet, effective and offers superb value for money at its current price of PS499. The only issue is that it does not provide the same level of customization as other bean-to-cup machines we have tried. It has a pump that is 15 bars rather than the usual 19 bars. This isn't as good for producing high-quality espressos. However, this is a fantastic bean to cup machine for those who like their coffee strong and black. Click here to view Lavazza's great deal.

2. Melitta Barista TS Smart

The machine also comes with two airtight containers that are automatically sorted for various specialties. It is set to standard espresso beans in one and cafe crem (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other however, you are able to select any beans you'd like. There is also a chute that can be used for pre-ground beans if you prefer to use your own.

The users have also been awed by the speed of the machine. They have said that it can make their drinks much faster than other machines they've used. Another benefit is that it will warn you when one of its hoppers is about to be empty, ensuring that you do not get caught running out of your favorite drink.

The price could be a problem for certain. The machine isn't cheap, costing nearly PS999. However, it is far cheaper than comparable Jura machines that have the same number of features.

The Barista TS Smart is backed by an impressive warranty, which provides two years of coverage. This is longer than the standard one-year warranty, which is a great indication of trust from the manufacturer. The machine includes an cleaning tablet, as well as an descaler. This makes it simple to maintain the machine. This is a fantastic machine for those looking to purchase a high-quality and versatile bean-to-cup machine at an affordable price.
